The Western Leyte College (of Ormoc City, Inc.) School of Law is Ormoc City's first law school.  It was concieved out of a vision: to provide quality legal education for residents of the western side of Leyte at a lesser cost and without them going to the regional centers of the country - Manila, Cebu and Tacloban.

Since its founding in 2003, the WLC School of Law has produced its first Lawyers in the Bar Examinations of 2007 and placed 22nd among the country's 106 law schools in terms of overall passing percentage in that year.

Aside from preparing our students in passing the vaunted bar examinations, it's the law school's vision to also prepare them for the practice of law, to be responsible leaders of the community and effective and ethical administrators of justice.
